Earlier today Pepper Construction employees successfully completed an Australian/New Zealand-recognised training course – conducted by training partner SMSA’s Ockie Simmonds & Bruce Wakefield – on the safe management and removal of non-friable asbestos.

Attendees attained CPCCDE3014A certification for restricted (Class B) Removal of Non-Friable Asbestos – this being recognised by Worksafe NZ – after completing the course’s prescribed theory and practical training sessions.

Andrew Pepper, Managing Director, noted, “This is our latest staff development initiative. Additionally, these people now have the ability to manage and remove any Class B asbestos from sites we are required to work on.”
