Project Description
Do You Have A Construction Project We Can Help With?
John Mana Way
John Mana Way required the redevelopment of a former swamp into a new ‘pocket neighbourhood’ concept, incorporating six individually-designed, 2- to 4-bedroom houses. The major challenge to this endeavour was a high natural water table combined with the requirement to address residual stormwater runoff at completion.
Our solution was to re-profile the original site, install over-engineered drainage solutions accompanied by passive drainage measures, including rain gardens, and set all six houses on driven wooden piles.
Additionally, House #2 was awarded a Registered Master Builders’ 2017 House-of-the-Year Silver Award.
