Dorset Ave, New Plymouth Transformation
This early 1900s three-bedroom cottage was transformed by the Pepper Construction team into a modern, functional home while retaining some of its original character and charm.
The renovation included a completely new interior layout, creating two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a dedicated office/studio space. The ornate ceiling in the living area was carefully restored, while the lower level was developed into a versatile studio.
Double glazing and insulation were installed to improve warmth and energy efficiency, with the exterior fully repainted and the surrounding landscaping redesigned to create a practical, low-maintenance outdoor living area.
The result is a home that combines the character of the original cottage with the comfort and functionality of modern living. It is ready to survive another 100 years.
